officially Christi has extensive progressive disease. Although I have continued to amp up her pain meds she is still suffering. our meeting with Maris was grim. We are running short on options. Today we decided to throw in zometa to help relieve the bone pain. she will go on morpine. Angela and shayla are planning on a trip her. I will be here until at least tuesday because the situation is so fluid and I am concerned about losing control of her pain

Dear Angela and Shayne.
My heart breaks for you, I have followed Christi since she was just a little girl and now she is a young woman, an incredible young woman. I have learned alot about faith and hope, love and limitless love from Christi. She is one of a kind for sure and you and Shayne have done such a wonderful job just letting her be who she is, with all her natural talents and zeal for life. Oh and not to forget dear Shayla, she is about as perfect a little sister can be, she has been so brave, so much for a little soul to share. She and Christi share a bond that will never break, no matter what. I wish I had a falling star or a Genie in a bottle because I would wish all 3 wishes for Christi's miracle. Please know that you are all in our thoughts and prayers and where there is breath, there is hope. I will pray for hope!

Angie, have never wanted to bother you with reading emails from me. But have wanted you to know at this time, our prayers are with you and Shayla as you travel and of course with Shane. We also hope that the pain will be under control for Christi. We have been keeping up with Tina and Gil, and just now got off the phone with Gil. We want to hlep in whatever way we can. I have never posted to the Blog but have been a Christi follower for about 1 1/2 years. Today as I read Shayne's posting my heart is broken. I will continue to pray for a miracle. Christi is a true inspiration to all.

I feel like this is a dream. What an awful disease. To go from feeling great a few weeks ago to this. We are so so sorry. Please god take away her pain and let her feel better. We are praying so hard.
