Hey girl,

DH and I were in that bus at the Henry Ford in October....we also saw the Oscar Meyer Weinermobile there.

Our trip to the museum and Greenfield Village and the Rouge were fantastic.

Glad to see you enjoy traveling to all these interesting places.

Have a great week at school!
Mom did a nice job on the slide show:)

Shayla-
I hope you had a nice time in Detroit at the Henry Ford Museum. I went there when I was younger and had a ball. Now that I am in college I miss being able to take those family vacations so I hope you get the chance to do a lot more:)

Megan

P.S. If you look closely behind the Oscar Meyer Weinermobile, you'll see the sign for the Henry Ford Museum store--- hopefully not too many people will catch on though!

I know! I know! (Waves hand wildly back and forth in the air...) Oh wait, I suppose it wouldn't be fair for me to guess since I already knew, would it? Oh well, I'll just wait and play next time!

Lol, ok I thought, hmmm this time I will be smart like some prior and google. Well, didnt help, googling 'car shows" was not the smartest of ideas on my part, however I didn't see the Oscar Meyer car in my town, so ONE thing I know for SURE, you weren't here, hee hee! Ok, going back, this time will google "oscar Meyer" (maybe I can get a better/additional hint :).. Being a Texan, you got me good on the last one, so can ya help a girl out, lol!
BTW, LOVE your outfit that matches your American Girl! Cute! What a doll you are, bet your personaility is EVEN better than it comes thru via internet...Ok, going to google some more..

Detroit...Museum of Cars/Transportation?

Was that the actual bus that Rosa Parks rode on? How interesting!

Oooo Shayla...this is tricky! My wild guess is Michigan - I think that I remember that Ford Motor Company is based there, so maybe that would explain all of those cool cars on display! But I could be totally wrong, or maybe I'm even thinking of the wrong state. Can't wait to find out where you went!

I do believe you were in my town--CHICAGO--at the car show and the Museum--either of Natural History or Field.
