Criminal Charges Filled against Hope Jackson

This site may have been pirated by Hope Jackson (DOB: 07/18/1976).

Arlington, Texas Police Report ##11-76809

Hope Jackson has been charged with theft by deception / fraud.

Over a number of years, Hope Jackson has allegedly used Christi’s story and pictures to scam others. This is continuing to happen. As you can imagine, we are disgusted, sickened and deeply disturbed by all of this. There is an ongoing criminal investigation with charges filed against her in many states. I am not yet able to share details, or to post her photos, social security number, address, etc. at this time. I can tell you that we were alerted to this many months ago and decided to remain silent, except for cooperating with the authorities who have been investigating Hope Jackson.

If you think you are being victimized, or have been victimized, please contact:

Absolutely horrified. There's really no words, how anyone is able to do that to family of a little girl who has bravely fought cancer and sadly lost her battle is beyond me. I am so upset that the wonderful Thomas team, who have been so selfless in sharing their journey with us, have been treated in this way. I really hope this doesn't affect you continuing with the blog, I love reading about what you guys are up to, and how you're coping, truly inspiring and such a great boost for me in feeling grateful for everything. It's sad to think that one cruel individual coukd take all that away from others. Sweet Christi, you are so loved and so missed by so many. I only hope justice is served. With love and hugs from the UK, Amber Xxx

Hello Angela,
I am so very sorry to hear about this situation. What a terrible thing for someone to do to your family! I can only imagine how violated and victimized you must feel to have the memory of your beautiful, smart, brave daughter treated in such as dispicable fashion!

If I can offer a tiny bit of encouragement, it is to thank you for taking such a brave and courageous step so many years ago by putting Christi's story "out there" for strangers to read. I can't imagine that was an easy decision for you to make- but as a result of this decision you have touched so many people's lives. Even though I do not know you personally, I am one of literally thousands who has been very, very blessed by reading her story. As you say so frequently, "God's people are good." Please know that despite these terrible actions by one person, there are so many other people out there who are good people- and your openness has truly made a difference for so many of these people. Your precious Christi's life was far too short- but it was not in vain, and sharing her story with so many people is not only a way her memory lives on, but is a way that her life still continues blessing other people.

Sincerely,
Jenna in Canada

I find this hard to believe that someone can try and benifit from your grief
Hopefully this person will be charged and dealt with in the correct manner.
Find strength from the people who continue to follow your family in the manner they all should
Very Best Wishes

This is the most sickening thing I have ever heard of. Please know that Christi's memory far surpass evil intentions of a despicable person as Hope Jackson. I have followed your story for years and have been inspired by Christi tremendously. Jenna said it best "thousands have been very, very blessed by reading her story".

Also want to extend my deepest of sympathy from the students at BGSU
